Which emoji do you use the most? I think mine is the rock hands or middle finger. A survey of 2,000 Americans found that 41% of respondents think a text needs an emoji, or it feels “incomplete.” I don't know about incomplete, but it sure does seem plain.
70% of Gen Zers think an emoji needs to be included, compared to just 46% of Gen X. However, speaking solely in emojis can be considered a “conversation killer.” I may have overused a few myself. The most frequently used emojis include the smiling face, red heart, thumbs up, face with tears of joy, and the blushing face with hearts.
