According to some tech experts it's BAD to charge your phone all night long. ZDnet did the study, so why is it so bad?
Even though your battery can charge in a "smart" way, they still keep your battery warmer than room temperature through the night. Which if you didn't know is bad for the battery over time.
So how should you charge your devices? Well they say you should charge your device on an average day to max out your battery's life:
Charge it for about 30 to 45 minutes in the morning when you get up.
Then charge it for another 30 minutes in the mid-afternoon to get it around 80%.
That way your phone is spending less than 2 house a day on chargers...a LOT less time than if you just went ahead and charged it overnight.
Will this help you with how you charge your device from here on out?
