Do you ever find yourself saying "I HAVE to have this!"? Well, the chances are you don't need it, well, not all the time. Most of the time the thing you just needed ends up never getting used or collecting dust and never worn. So if you're trying to get spending under control, financial experts are saying to try the 10-10-10 rule.
So what is the 10-10-10 rule? You should always ask yourself these questions before purchasing something:
- How will we feel about it 10 minutes from now?
- How about 10 weeks from now?
- How about 10 years from now?
The goal...is to see how much you actually need it.
We've even carried stuff around the store for the whole trip, and if we till need it after the entire stop, we pick it up becuause if we carried it that long, we acutally want it.
Would you try this to save money??
