Trust us, we know your mornings can get crazy. You go running around trying to get yourself ready for the day, and before you can get out the door you still feel like a hot mess. Well, there are a few simple things you can do to make the morning better, like you have it all together-ish
Use an alarm clock– Opt for an actual alarm clock, not your phone. Once our phone alarm goes off, we usually lay in bed and hop on social media or start checking emails right away. Depending on what you see, it could already throw your day off.
Do a 30-second gratitude practice– You can make this short and sweet! The point is to be present in your blessings and all that you're grateful for.
Set a daily intention– This can be short and sweet as well. Give yourself one to three things to focus on throughout the day. These can be feelings of confidence or groundedness or things you’d like to accomplish like getting your 10k steps in.
Drink a glass of water –You’ll notice an immediate payoff. You’ll feel hydrated and also have a small sense of accomplishment.
Listen to something that makes you feel the way you want to feel –Figure out what it is you’re looking to feel more of in the a.m. and then put on something that helps you get there. Whether it’s something calmer or more upbeat.
Move your body– Some may start their day with a 5K while for others a few minutes of light stretching will do the trick. Find something to get your body moving that fits into your schedule.
