Favorite holidays for an OU fan are Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day...Oh, who are we kidding? It's OU/TEXAS WEEK!!! While we appreciate the fans who say their favorite part of the week is our annual OU/TEXAS SONG, I have to believe that social media has to be, at the very least, a tie or very close 2nd Place. How did we ever celebrate OU/Texas Week before social media? Mass emails? AOL Chat Rooms? Fly a plane around the state pulling a giant "Texas Sucks" banner? Thank you to the Mark Zuckerberg's of this world for giving us a forum to spread our disdain for our Burnt Orange Enemies to the south. Here are some of our favorite posts from this week.
Oh, and props to the very humorous Tweets about Texas Head Coach Tom Herman. While I'm 99% sure he doesn't do all of this stuff, these annoying characteristics, and how you may feel about someone who does such things, sum up perfectly how an OU fan (or OSU fan, or West Virginia fan, or Ohio State fan, or...) feel about the Longhorns' head coach. Let's be honest, someone who cries about us turning their "Hook 'em" upside down, probably does do some of the following things.
