Meghan Trainor is opening up about dealing with anxiety in a new interview with “Euphoria” magazine and credits “Today’s” Carson Daly with helping her deal with it.
“I couldn’t explain it to my own parents– like, they didn’t understand when I was like my head’s on fire, my back feels like someone has a flame to it or I have nausea and I don’t know why and it was just ’cause my adrenals were all messed up,” she tells the mag. “Hearing Carson Daly explain exactly how I felt was better than a doctor." She adds, "it was like oh, a regular human being who is in the industry feels like I do and I told him you don’t know how much that saved me.”
Meghan is due to release her new album “Treat Myself” on June 25th, and she says of the album, “It symbolizes a moment in my life that I had after my second surgery, where I kind of crumbled emotionally and physically.” She adds, “My body just kinda gave up on me and I had to remind myself that I can say ‘no’ and that I have to focus on myself and treat myself.”
