An Amy Winehouse hologram tour is in the works, her father Mitch Winehouse confirmed. The shows are set to debut in 2019 and will feature a live band accompanying vocals from Winehouse’s original recordings. All proceeds from the concerts will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation. “We felt this would be a tremendous way for Amy both to revisit her fans through a hologram, and also an incredible way to raise money for our foundation,” Mitch Winehouse said in a statement. “We will do the best we can in terms of honoring her legacy,” Brian Becker, Chief Executive of BASE Hologram, added. “This is a celebration.” A new documentary, Amy Winehouse – Back to Black, arrives next month. It features “previously unseen footage of Amy” as well as new interviews with collaborators like Mark Ronson.
