Demi Lovato has had a rough summer - and after her reported overdose, there were many people who thought she might not survive. Turns out, Dr. Drew Pinsky is not one of those people. The way he sees it, she will be an inspiration for others.
“It’s unfortunate that she had bad consequences," he notes. "But God bless her, she will be an inspiration as she has always been. I guarantee it.”
The secret to that success? Getting and stay with a program. “The most important thing, which I can’t emphasize enough,"Pinsky adds. "Is that Demi start going to meetings as soon as possible and surround herself with sober friends.” Considering the strong support system she has as well as her track record, we're guessing she's well on her way.
