Maroon 5 is doing some housecleaning. The band is selling loads of equipment, including microphones, guitars, drum machines and other instruments via Techno Empire’s Reverb shop.
“We used all of this gear when we were kids, working hard to establish ourselves as a band. Now, we’re in a new phase and we need to clear out what we’re not using anymore to make room for the equipment that will help us create what comes next,” keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael shares. “This gear was such a huge part of our story and I hope that it goes to an up-and-coming band or musicians who can make it part of their own story.”
About 200 items will be up for sale starting tomorrow. Fans who are interested can get things like the mic Adam Levine used for their tour in support of “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long,” as well as several Floyd Rose guitars played by Levine and James Valentine and more.
Here is more good news for Maroon 5. Maroon 5 will be spending New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. The band jut announced they’ll be headlining the Mandalay Bay Events Center on December 30th and 31st.
