Louis Tomlinson famously made his debut on “The X-Factor.” where he grouped up with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik to form One Direction. Now, he’s returning to the UK show, but as a judge this time.
The show's Twitter account announced that Tomlinson will join Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams and Simon Cowell on the judge’s panel for Season 15. Niall took to Twitter to congratulate his former bandmate, writing “Absolutely delighted for ya. Huge news!!”
Fans are a little worried, however, that Louis' new gig as judge will delay his highly anticipated debut solo album. Tomlinson squashed their worries on Twitter, reassuring them that the new music is coming.
He said in a video, “As I said today in the press conference, the album is definitely my prority. I just thought, coming from the show, it made a lot of sense to go on and I’ve always been really interested in mentoring.”
