There are a lot of food debates out there dividing people, like if pineapple belongs on a pizza and whether or not a hot dog is a sandwich. And apparently, folks are also divided on whether you should eat macaroni and cheese with a fork or a spoon. Who knew?
We may never settle some of these, but now food brand Annie’s has done the research to find out which utensil most Americans prefer when eating their mac and cheese. According to their survey of thousands of fans of the comfort food, 71% of us like to use a fork and only 28% prefer a spoon.
But Annie’s also finds that parents in 41 of 50 states say giving their kids a spoon to eat mac and cheese is easier. And if you’ve ever fed a bowl of it to a little tyke, you’ll get that. Of course, like most food debates, there is no right or wrong answer. But which do you use?
