Taylor Swift was overseas this weekend performing at BBC's Biggest Weekend at Swansea's Singleton Park and it was quite a hot show. Not necessarily because Taylor put on a great performance, which by all accounts she did, because the temps were high, with 80 percent humidity.
As you can imagine, Taylor was quite hot and sweaty when she came off stage, which resulted in a bit of an awkward encounter with an interviewer, that left Swifties very unhappy. During a post-show interview, presenter Greg James actually said to Taylor, “I think you need to have a shower now,” to which Taylor laughed off and replied, “I agree, I'm not offended, there's a lot going on and almost none of it's good.”
And while Taylor didn’t seem fazed by the question, her fans were insulted by it. “Really Greg James? The first interview Taylor has done in more than two years and you tell her she needs a shower?,” one wrote, while another added, “Really where did your manners go? And you couldn't have asked her a music question about her album? Is this journalism?”
Others, of course, feel Taylor fans are being a bit touchy. As one noted, “'People need to stop creating problems, the whole Greg James shower comment was a joke, it was crazy humid today, plus performing, Taylor didn't even take offense.”
Meanwhile, as for Taylor’s performance, she treated the crowd to “reputation” songs “Ready For It…,” “Gorgeous,” “Look What You Made Me Do,” and “Delicate,” as well as hits “Blank Space,” and “Shake It Off.”
