Kevin Federline has made good on his threat to sue Britney Spears for a raise in his child support. K-Fed had requested a significant bump in the $20,000 a month he was already getting, but apparently didn’t get what he wanted, so now he’s filed court papers seeking the increase.
In his filing, K-Fed says he needs the money because he makes less than 1% of Britney’s income, noting that he’s now making significantly less than the “six figure” salary he had in 2008 because, “I am no longer able to perform as a dancer due to my age, and I have not been as successful in putting out new music as I was in 2008.”
He also argues that there is “an extreme disparity between the lifestyle enjoyed” by his sons when they are with Britney as opposed to when they are with him, because she makes $4 mil a year, while he only makes $3,000 a month. He also notes Brit gets them all the luxuries they need and go on lavish vacations with their mother, something he can’t afford.
