Ariana Grande seems to defy gravity in the video for her latest single “No Tears Left To Cry,” and it seems she did all those jaw-dropping stunts by herself.
In case you missed it, the singer just shared some behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the video, and in it you see Grande swing from a floating staircase while strapped to a harness, and also walking on walls, thanks to a rotating set.
“The concept we wanted to explore was the disorientation that you go through in life... to find the ground again,” the video’s director Dave Meyers explains. “We flirt with the ambiguity of whether you need to find the ground or whether the ground is what you make of it.”
He adds, “The optimism of the song and [Grande], mixed with the complexity and disillusionment of the world that we’re putting her in... it’s going to be a special one.”
