If you take in fast food, you know you have choices for days. But is your favorite restaurant the new top of the food chain?
You've been to Chick fil A before, and lines are long for a reason, but someone else has taken the throne from the king of chicken sandwiches.
Jersey Mike's ended Chick-fil-A's 11-year reign atop the American Customer Satisfaction Index, based on surveys from 16,464 respondents. They took over the title this year because their patrons say they love the freshness, food variety and value, and sales are through the roof.
Rounding out the rest of the list is not really a surprise. Chick fil A remained the top chicken restaurant ahead of KFC, Raising Cane's, Wingstop and Popeyes. Jimmy John's and Panda Express tied for third place. Jersey Mike's reached the top of the food chain, while a lot of rising operating costs and consumers spending more selectively. Jersey Mike's maintained quality despite rapid expansion.
So next time you're thinking "what sounds good for lunch today?" Maybe swing by a Jersey Mike's! They only top the list because, well maybe it's also delicious.
