You've seen people preaching for years outside of concerts, sporting events, and more preaching the end is near. But should you believe it could happen in your lifetime? Some do.
University of British Columbia and UC Irvine researchers surveyed over 1,400 Americans and discovered apocalyptic beliefs are held by 29 to 39% of the population. The study identified five distinct dimensions of end times thinking, including timing, causation, and whether people view apocalypse positively or negatively.
Some beliefs point their fingers at climate change, nuclear war, and artificial intelligence threats.
You never know when your last day could be. Believe what you want, but live your best life and be the best you and try not to let your mind take you to places you don't want to go, like the end of life.
