Do you take your pet with you everywhere you go? Grocery stores, shopping centers, you name it. You see dogs everywhere you go. But what happens when it's time for vacation? Do you bring them then?
I understand the need for service dogs. I fully support it. But if you have a pet, and you don't think about an upcoming vacation you could be in trouble.
There is also the other side of the coin. Some people won't even take their dogs on a car ride. They're "afraid" of how they'll act in the car. Some say it's because driving distractions, the mess, and accidents. Twenty percent experienced nightmare journeys with their dogs.
So if you're thinking of getting a dog, you may want to take this into consideration.
As always adopt, don't shop. Plenty of fuzzy pants people need a spot and swear they won't mess up your vacation.
