Valentine's Day is this weekend. So get ready for the best or worst night of your life. Depends on the level of passion you've got going on in your relationship.
But there is a study out of the Indiana University that says 1 in 7 American's have never had passion in their relationship. WHHHHAAAAAAAATTTTTT???? How does that happen? There had to be a spark at one point in the relationship right? Give us some hope here.
The study found that the average American has passionate love just twice on average, while 14% never experience it at all. About 30% reported experiencing it once, another 30% twice, and only 11% four or more times.
Men reported slightly more experiences than women among heterosexual participants, but no gender differences appeared among LGBTQ individuals. Older adults showed marginally higher numbers due to more years for romantic opportunities. So older folks have more shots at love now? Okay??
Find a way, if it's making your partner laugh, cook for them, whatever. Find your love language and spend your time showing them how special they are to you. Goes a lot further than flowers and candy any time lol.
