In the past, we would name our kids something original or even a family members name. But now AI comes in to tell you what you should name your kids.
My daughter's name is Everly, and we had never heard the name. So we thought what an original name. Then we found out that Channing Tatum's daughter had the same name. You can't always think you'll be the only person with a name, unless you make it up....thanks Prince from back in the day.
So how is AI getting it's digital hand in your family business now?
The first baby of 2026 was born in Maryland, and the parents wanted the name to be special for baby new year.
The couple used ChatGPT to find boy names that paired well with their last name Winkler, and they picked Hudson.
The mom of Hudson was also born at the same hospital, has been married to her police officer husband for three years. The couple, like other couples started using AI for naming inspiration, including a Colombian couple who named their daughter “Chat Yipiti” in tribute to ChatGPT last August.
Well, if we had a boy, his name would have been Mike after my dad, but I love my little Everly. Would you let AI pick your kids names or at least inspire which one you choose?
