We've all been there. Not a lot of money to get a family member or friend a gift for their holiday gift/birthday whatever. So you think "I'll just grab them a few lottery tickets. Something is better than nothing right?" But what if they won? Do you split the money with them, or is that all theirs and you won the joy of giving them more than expected?
This happened to a woman when a woman's birthday gift from her best friend turned into a $20,000!!
She was given 60 scratch-off lottery tickets from her friend Carrie during her birthday celebration. While scratching the tickets at home later, Wendy discovered that a $2 Cash Explosion Cashword ticket was worth $20,000. BIG WIN, way bigger than the giver thought they were giving.
The lucky winner plans to use her prize money to pay off some debt and take her friend that got her the tickets on a girls’ trip as a thank you for the thoughtful gift that changed her life.
