If you have a pet, you know they're like family. They sleep in our beds, eat dinner with us, and even keep our spots on the couch warm. So a lot goes into their names. Especially when your fuzzy friend has a LOT of personality.
We have almost always had dogs with old man names. Our boys are almost always pretty chill. So why not go with and Oliver, a Doug, or Walter? But these names of little old fuzzy old men don't top the list of dog names for 2025. So who's back on top?
Max is back on top of the list. Maybe it's the time of year for the Grinch and that's what inspires your fuzzy friends names. But Max went back to the top.
The classic name held the top position in 2022 and 2023 before being overtaken by Milo in 2024. Milo has now dropped to 12th place. Hank made a dramatic jump from 35th to second place this year.
What about the girl pups? Female dog names showed little change, with Luna, Bella, Daisy, and Lucy maintaining the top four spots from 2024.
I don't care what you call them, but in the end your dog/pet is a family member. Call them skittles and no matter what they'll love you.
