Candace Cameron Bure’s Response to Fat-Shaming Troll Will Inspire You

Don’t mess with Candace Cameron Bure. The Fuller House actress clapped back at an Instagram troll after he called her fat in the comments section on a photo with her son Lev.

The Full House alum captioned a photo at Nobu Malibu with her son Lev on April 13: “Nobu with @levvbure - celebrating a new direction 🎬.” In the pic, the actress looks amazing in a casual denim getup and pair of boyfriend jeans.

An internet troll commented on the snap: "All that exercising, and you still look like you weigh more than your husband, did you change your diet?"

Bure responded to the commenter — who seemingly mistook her son for her husband, Valeri Bure — with “Nice, troll 😀.”

Her fans were quick to come to her aid, commenting things like “Good for you! Standing up to trolls is the only way they will learn. Being kind is so much easier and less work than being a jerk!” and “You look fantastic...don’t pay attention to negative people.”

She then commented back to the troll, defending her toned frame: "If a 25 inch waist looks big to you... then you’re looking through an altered lens. Be well.”

The Kind Is the New Classy author has previously opened up about battling an eating disorder and getting her health back on track.

"I feel a real sense of accomplishment about what my body can still do, and I want to keep it in shape and keep it strong for so many years that are ahead of me," Bure told People magazine. "You kind of take your body for granted when you’re younger, so the older I get the prouder I am of the things I’m able to do with it."
