Homeland Dedicates 1st Hour To Senior Shoppers During Coronavirus Pandemic

Oklahoma based Homeland Grocery Stores announced today that effective immediately they are dedicating the first hour of store operations to senior customers and those who have a medical condition that puts them at risk from COVID-19.

“In keeping with the company’s mission of serving our communities, our employee owners want to provide these at-risk customers with the ability purchase their grocery needs in a less populated environment. Support is appreciated as we strive to serve all our valued customers in an efficient and safe manner” according to CEO and President, Marc Jones.

In addition, Jones added that “Due to the unprecedented demand for grocery and paper products nationally, the company has been faced with difficulties in both the availability and delivery of some products.”

The company is working tirelessly to increase delivery schedules and procure additional product from multiple warehouses and vendor partners. Store staffing has been greatly increased for restocking, sanitizing and serving our communities. Homeland and its affiliated stores takes great pride in providing vital services to all of their neighbors through these unprecedented times.
