A 13 year old Florida boy who started a nonprofit called "Running 4 Heroes Inc." which honors fallen law enforcement officers across the country honored fallen Oklahoma County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Bobby Swartz on Tuesday evening. The teen, Zechariah Cartledge, ran a mile in honor of Sgt. Swartz while carrying the blue line flag.
Swarz was shot and killed while serving lockout papers on Monday at a home near Southwest 78th St and Youngs Boulevard in Oklahoma City.
Swartz's partner, Deputy Mark Johns was also shot during the incident and actually apologized to Sheriff Tommie Johnson at the Hospital for not being able to save his partner after attempting to shield Sgt. Swartz and getting shot himself.
