In a tweet on Saturday Lil' Nas X seemed to tease that he could be going country by simply saying "I'm ready to make more country music now". There's no word on if it's one song or an entire album but it's clear that he has interest in the genre and might be teasing an upcoming project.
It's not crazy either since his collab with country artist Billy Ray Cyrus "Old Town Road" turned into a massive hit. He also performed it alongside Keith Urban and Billy Ray Cyrus during CMA Music Fest. He's definitely no stranger to the genre.
Solo project? Maybe a collab with another country artist? We shall see what all this means soon.
