Frank Fritz Not Returning To 'American' Pickers' After Health Issues

After 'American Pickers' start Frank Fritz revealed on social media this week that has he hasn't spoken to Mike Wolfe for 2 years a new post just revealed the fate of the popular History Channel series.

Fritz told 'The Sun' earlier this week:

“I haven’t talked to Mike in two years. He knew my back was messed up, but he didn’t call me up and ask how I was doing,” which shocked fans. “That’s just how it is.”

Frank Fritz took to social media today (July 21st) saying:

"I will NOT be returning to the show after having health issues, as the producers have decided to focus on Mike Wolfe as the solo host."

Speaking of chemistry it appears there might have been a falling out between Mike & Frank which might be part of the reasoning for the changing. According to reports there was tension over their shared stardom.

Before Frank's announcement that he won't be returning he posted this just 3 hours before that:

"I'm back on the show, but we'll see. I've been doing it for 11 years, but there's a lot of controversy going on right now."

The news caught many longtime fans of the show off guard including myself. I loved these two together and the show won't be the same without Frank. It was their chemistry that made the show fun to watch.

Mike Wolfe released a statement later in the day that says:

"I have known Frank for as long as I can remember, he’s been like a brother to me. The journey that Frank, Dani and I started back in 2009, like all of life, has come with its highs and lows, blessings and challenges, but it has also been the most rewarding.

The support that you all have given us has been a constant reminder of what the show’s message has always been; thru these places, people, and things we all have a common thread. We’re here to not only take care of the past, but also each other.

I will miss Frank, just like all of you, and I pray for the very best and all good things for him on the next part of his journey."
