A 4 year old boy in Washington, D.C. wanted to thank the National Guard for protecting his neightborhood with cookies. The boys mother said it was his idea to bake the cookies and they lived close to the Capitol. Kavi Sadar brought the cookies to the guard members on Joe Biden's Inauguration Day to one of the last checkpoints before arriving at the U.S. Capitol. In return for the cookies, one of the guards gave him an American Flag patch. Such a sweet moment captured on video.
