Dale Earnhardt Jr is speaking out about the crash that ended his career like never before.
Fellow NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski saw the interview and shared this on Twitter afterwards.
I still feel awful about this to this day, tough interview to watch...— Brad Keselowski (@keselowski) September 6, 2018
After seeing you and the car stuck in the wall; I thought you were hurt but shrugged it off when you got out of the rental car.

A few weeks later, after the race @TalladegaSuperS we celebrated your Birthday and I knew you looked shook up. But I thought you were upset about not winning and brought over a ton of fireworks to set off (the worst thing for someone with a concussion). I’m so sorry 😐— Brad Keselowski (@keselowski) September 6, 2018
All that said. I’m proud of you for taking the time to share your story @DaleJr— Brad Keselowski (@keselowski) September 6, 2018
We will all be smarter because of you. 😊👍🏻
