Say Goodbye To Straws At Starbucks

Starbucks announced today (July 9th, 2018) that the company is removing plastic straws from all stores by 2020.  The change will mean over 1 billion straws per year won't contribute to ocean pollution and pose a danger to marine life.

The straws will be replaced by a dome lid (shown below).

Does anyone else think it looks like an adult size sippy cup though? haha.
