While the Golden Globes are known as the fun awards show because they actually encourage celebrities to drink during the telecast, what you may not realize is that they actually serve the stars food as well. Now whether they choose to eat it is another story, but the Hollywood Foreign Press certainly goes out of their way to make it tempting.
Celebs at last night’s show were treated to a gluten-free meal prepared by Beverly Hills Hotel executive chef Alberico Nunziataand executive pastry chef Thomas Henzi, and included:
- Burrata cheese on a bed of golden frisee with opal basil, teardrop tomatoes, taggiasca olives, garlic flowers, roasted butternut squash, and purple sweet potatoes drizzled in extra virgin olive oil and balsamic.
- Mediterranean Chilean seabass with red beet Parmesan risotto, Castelvetrano olive tapenade, broccolini flowers, golden strip baby beets, yellow squash and zucchini.
- Coffee-infused Frangelico crème brûlée, with gold dusting and crinoline chocolate swirl.
