Netflix has announced that they're giving back to the Black community.
Today the streaming service announced that 2 percent of its cash holding will go to financial institutions and organizations that support Black communities and they'll start with $100 million.
The commitment by Netflix comes after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
This new initiative comes two weeks after Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and his wife Patty made a $120 million donation to historically Black colleges and universities.
