Britney Spears attempted to get in touch with Kristin Cavallari after the Laguna Beach alum called her a "clone" in a recent episode of her podcast, Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari.

The host addressed the situation during the November 5th episode of her podcast, detailing the call she received from her publicist and why she thinks Spears wanted to chat.

"I get a call from my publicist. He calls me and he goes, ‘Guess who wants your phone number?’ And I go, ‘Who?’ Britney f--king Spears!"

Cavallari continued:

"My big thing was Kanye West I think is a clone, but I also said Britney is not Britney. So Britney obviously caught wind of that. So my initial reaction was, I was scared. I’m not gonna lie. Like, they're f--king onto me, man. They did not like that podcast episode. Like, give her my number."

After asking for Cavallari's phone number, the podcast host and her publicist were added to a group chat with Spears' and her manager.

According to E!News, Cavallari actually met the "Womanizer" icon during her Las Vegas Residency in 2014.
