Most of us have eaten something at a grocery story. Weather it was when you grabbed a candy bar in the check out line, or sampled some fruit. Almost all of us have done this. But a Florida woman took it to the extreme.
A Florida woman was arrested for repeatedly stealing banana chips from a Publix supermarket by her house. I mean she had to get them out of there right? So why not do it close to your casa.
Annette Nichols allegedly took $6.49 bags of banana chips on six separate occasions over several weeks, totaling about $300 in stolen merchandise.
When confronted, she confessed and said she didn't know why she steals "something so stupid, it's not worth going to jail over and losing her job."
So how many banana chips do you have to lift before they notice? Well, the cops found 13 bags of banana chips in her car, some stolen from two different Publix locations.
So she was charged with theft and released on $150 bond. If you plan to take something, at least make it something good like a steak. Banana chips are dumb, especially the unsweetened ones. Those suck. Maybe she was taking them to save the world from trash?
