Are We Done With Dating Apps?

Looking for someone for life or right now. A lot of us use dating apps to meet up. Weather it's to just hook up, or looking for someone with the same interests. So what would you do if dating apps just want away? How would you even meet anyone? Actually talk to people? No thanks lol.

A study was done at the University of Warwick, they set out to see why dating app usage appears to have cooled over the last year. Part of this could be due to the frustration users face trying to establish authentic connections.

OkCupid used to ask a wide range of questions and allowed users to specify which answers they looked for in other matches.

“The industry’s future may ultimately depend on whether companies can shift focus from impersonal engagement metrics to fostering authentic connections,” researchers led by Anh Luong wrote.
