Why Selena Gomez Got A Rash After Her First Kiss With Benny Blanco

Selena Gomez was so nervous about her first kiss with Benny Blanco that she got a rash.

The adorable duo recently sat down with Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware and zoomed in on the beginning of their relationship, citing nerves and kisses on their first date. Blanco recalled their first kiss as a spontaneous moment that left the "Come & It Get It" songstress extremely flustered.

"Towards the end of the date, we were just sitting in the living room on the couch, and we were playing 'We’re Not Really Strangers'. And there was a thing where it said, 'Take a selfie with the person next to you,' and she got right on my chest and took a selfie. And then right after, I just looked at her, and I said, 'I gotta kiss this girl.' I kissed her right away, and her heart started beating so quickly, and she started getting a rash on her face … she was so nervous."

Podcast host Lennie joked that Gomez might have been allergic to the producer, to which Blanco quipped, "She was, yeah. I was so disgusting and repulsive."

Gomez also spoke about the kiss, confirming her nerves were so intense because that was the first time she'd felt a spark in five years.

"So some kisses are for fun and then when you feel something behind a kiss, it’s completely different. And I’d been alone for about five years, with the exception of a few s****y dates here and there, but never felt that way. And I was a little embarrassed."

The star-studded fiancés released their first joint album, I Said I Loved You First in March and have yet to announce a wedding date.
