BTS Beat Taylor Swift & Ariana Grande's StubHub Tour Sales In Just 72 Hours

Times Square New Year's Eve 2020 Celebration

BTS’ ticket sales are through the roof!

The K-pop stars’ upcoming “Map of the Soul Tour” is pulling in some pretty insane numbers on StubHub. According to the site, which specializes in the buying and reselling tickets between fans to tens of thousands of events, BTS’ latest jaunt generated more sales in its first three days — even surpassing the likes of Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift

Per a report from Forbes, in just 72 hours, the “Boy With Luv” pop stars sold nearly twice as many tickets as were sold for Super Bowl LIV. With a 560% growth in that time frame, BTS exceeded two of 2019’s biggest tours, including Grande’s “Sweetener Tour” (at 378%) and Swift’s “Lover Tour” (258%).

With ticket sales across the United States and 24 countries, BTS has become StubHub’s No. 1 top-selling artist in the past 30 days, soaring past My Chemical RomanceBillie EilishPost Malone, and Elton John. As stated by StubHub general manager of music and theatre Jeff Poirier, “The BTS 2020 tour is driving demand unlike anything we’ve seen from a pop act in recent years.”

As previously reported, BTS’ newest tour will launch on April 11 with four scheduled performances in their hometown venue of Seoul’s Olympic Stadium. From there, the superstars will travel to the States for shows in Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, and elsewhere before jetting back across the pond for concerts in London, Berlin, and Barcelona before its final stop in Tokyo in September.
