Ticketmaster Eliminates Fees To Sell Taylor Swift Tickets

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s people want you to believe her “reputation” tour is selling well, despite plenty of tickets still being available. In fact, there are so many tickets still available  that Ticketmaster recently ran a promotion to try and move some.

Earlier this week, Ticketmaster launched a special promotion that actually waved service fees for her shows in connection with tax day. The promotion ended yesterday, but fans lucky enough to snag tickets saved around 19%.

And it sounds like fans may have even more options to get cheaper tickets to the shows. Currently the cheapest tickets on the secondary market are going for about $66, compared with $102 for her “1989” tour. Plus there are currently 35% more tickets on the secondary market than there were at this time for “1989.”

And fans don’t even need to go to secondary markets for tickets. Ticketmaster shows there are plenty of seats available for all 40 of her North American dates.

Taylor Swift’s “reputation World Tour” kicks off May 8th in Phoenix, Arizona.
