The Weeknd dropped the surprise EP “My Dear Melancholy,” on Thursday and now that folks have listened to it, many think the songs on it are about his ex Selena Gomez.
For example, in "Call Out My Name," he appears to be singing about an ex, with lyrics like, "We found each other, I helped you out of a broken place. You gave me comfort, but falling for you was my mistake." In the same song he suggests that he was willing to give his kidney to save her life, singing, “I said I didn’t feel nothing, baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life / Guess I was just another pit stop.”
