Fergie Says Birthdays Don’t Depress Her

Fergie celebrated her 43rd birthday yesterday and while some people may dread the idea of another birthday, she seems perfectly okay with it. In fact, she says thanks to her son Axl, she always feels young.

“I don’t get depressed on birthdays. For me it doesn’t have that negative connotation in my life. I always feel young at heart,” she tells “People.” “I have a big imagination and I play with my kid. We’re imagining things and playing. I’m not afraid to be playful in my mind.”

She adds, “For me a number is a number. It’s not that big of a deal.”
