Miley Cyrus Talks About How VMA's Changed Her Life

A lot of people may remember Miley Cyrus' 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke as shocking and controversial, but she only sees the positive in what it did for her career and life.

"Not only was culture changed, but my life and career were changed forever…It inspired me to use my platform for something much bigger," she tells “Wonderland” magazine. "If the world is going to focus on me and what I am doing, then what I am doing should be impactful and it should be great."

Meanwhile, some fans may wonder when Miley is going to be on the big screen again, but it doesn’t sound like it will happen anytime soon. Miley admits her “attention span” isn’t ideal for being in a project for too long, which doesn’t allow her to be herself. "I get really deep into the characters I play, just like I do with music. So then in becomes hard for me to relate—even to my family and friends—I'm so deep into that character,” she offers. “So for right now, I am so content with where I am, being someone else doesn't sound that fun to me."
