Britney Spears’ ex-hubby Kevin Federline wants more money. According to "Us Weekly," K-Fed’s attorney recently sent a letter to Spears’ legal team requesting an increase in his $20,000 a month child support payment.
According to an insider, K-Fed, who is the father of Brit’s two songs Preston and Jayden, believes he deserves more because of the success of Brit’s Las Vegas residency. The lawyers argue the show did well, “in part because the boys have been in her life,” adding, that the increase is warranted to “recognize the sacrifices (Federline) has made because he has gone above and beyond what most people would do in this situation.”
And while this could be a stressful situation, the chances are pretty good Britney won’t even know what’s going on. “Britney won’t be involved with any of the legal discussions regarding the increase request,” the insider says. “She will let her dad, Jamie, and the lawyers hash it out. However, Jamie isn’t just going to fork over what he would consider an outrageous demand.”
