Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child – a baby girl – on Monday at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The 37-year-old reality star was in the room with her surrogate while she gave birth and was the first person to have skin-to-skin contact with the newborn when she arrived. Kanye, Kris Jenner, and Kim‘s sisters were also there, but not in the delivery room. There were no complications during the birth. The surrogate was apparently allowed to have some contact with the baby but the baby was immediately put in the care of the Kardashian-West family. In the statement, Kim and Kanye said, “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”
