Lady Gaga is set to kick off a residency in Las Vegas at the MGM Park Theater. The deal reportedly closed over the weekend and will bring the pop star to the city starting in late 2018. According to an inside source, Gaga will perform 74 dates with the possibility of a longer run. The deal is said to be for nearly $100 million, with Gaga clearing a million-plus dollars per show. Comparatively, Britney Spears’ two-year commitment at Planet Hollywood was in the range of $30 million. Gaga’s last touring run, of 37 shows, saw an average box office gross of $2.5 million. “The rumors are true I will have my own residency in Las Vegas at MGM’s Park Theater,” Gaga confirmed on her Instagram. “I am SO HAPPY and excited beyond belief to make my own brand new show here with my new Vegas family.”
