While some people may be shocked by Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s possible reunion, there's apparently a good reason why she was willing to give it another go. According to sources it's because she never really got over him in the first place.
“Justin was Selena’s first love. He will always have a special place in her heart,” the source tells “People.” “She’s always held out hope that one day the circumstances and timing would be right.”
While the pair still hasn’t confirmed that they are a couple, it sure look like things are headed that way. “They’re having a great time together. Neither are seeing anyone else and they seem happy to leave it at this for now,” a source close to Justin adds. “Spending time together makes them both very happy.”
The insider adds, “For Justin, no one ever came close to comparing to Selena. He always thoughts she was the most special and now seems mature enough to realize Selena deserves the best.”
