Taylor Swift is mourning for the people of Las Vegas. “There are no words to express the helplessness and sorrow my broken heart feels,” she tweeted one day after a lone gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, killing at least 59 people and injuring more than 525. Later on Monday, after learning that an off-duty female officer was among the injured, Swift had a bouquet of flowers delivered to the Los Angeles police station where the woman works. Kimberlee Binder, an LAPD intel analyst, shared of photo of Swift’s heartfelt gesture in an Instagram post. “Talk about a class act! @taylorswift sent multiple bouquets of flowers and plants to our station, as one of our officers was shot in Las Vegas last night,” Binder wrote. “Beautiful flowers can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Much respect.”
