Nerds all over the country are probably wondering “why didn’t I think of that?”
A cornfield maze far far away is honoring the late Carrie Fisher. Evansville, Indiana is the home of the maze inspired by the "Star Wars" franchise. The massive cornfield was planted in the spring using a GPS device to map out the design.
The farmer who created the maze is a long-time fan of the iconic film franchise. Now that the corn has matured, it features an almost exact likeness of the character Princess Leia, who was portrayed by Fisher. Needless to say, the force will definitely be with fans who visit the maze.
The work of art has “Carrie Fisher 1956-2016 spelled out at the top.
