Ed Sheeran has a soft spot for babies. The singer was performing in Miami when he spotted a couple with their one-year-old daughter, who, it turns out, was named after the singer.
Rocky Smith and Harmony Smith came to the concert with their daughter Cooper Sheeran Smith, and Ed was amazed not only at the child’s name, but how chill she was being during the performance.
“Her middle name is Sheeran?" Ed said, adding. "I've never seen a baby this calm at a concert. Just chilling there for the whole thing and you guys have been loud, you're singing and she's just kinda like...I love babies."
Ed then dedicated the song “Dive” to little Cooper, asking fans to sing along at the top of their lungs. "I want you to be as loud as you can," he said. "'Cause she's gonna be chill."
