Taylor Swift Has A New Way To Buy Her Tickets

Taylor Swift hasn’t announced any new touring dates yet, but she’s already promoting a new way for her fans to get tickets to her shows. 

The singer has teamed with Ticketmaster for a new way to make sure more Swifties, and not scalpers, get tickets to her concerts. She just launched "Taylor Swift Tix powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan," on her website, which not only allows fans to sign up for the chance to get special codes to snag her tickets, but gives them the opportunity to move up in the queue by engaging in other "unique activities.”

But many of those “unique activities” involve spending more money on Taylor, like buying her album or other merchandise. A video on Taylor’s website describes it as a “fun way” to advance fans’ spot in line although not every Swiftie is on board with this move and many took to Twitter to complain about what they see as a blatant money grab by Taylor.
