Taylor Swift’s mom told a courtroom yesterday about the moment her daughter said she’d been “sexually assaulted” by a radio DJ at a Denver meet-and-greet in 2013. “I was very upset. That’s different than angry,” Andrea Swift told the Denver jurors. “I was upset to the extent of feeling like I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time.” Andrea wasn’t inside the Pepsi Center photo booth where Swift posed for a snapshot with David Mueller, but she was at the arena that night. “I heard it directly from my daughter’s mouth,” she said. “He sexually assault her.” Andrea consulted with Taylor’s team, and they agreed it was “important for [Mueller’s] employers to understand what took place and important that this not happen to another woman.” But they didn't call police out of fear the incident would define Swift's life.
