The Weeknd is the latest music superstar to try his hand at being a designer. The R&B star has teamed with Puma for a new line of sneakers and clothing, with his sneakers the first product to make its debut.
The Weeknd’s "Parallel” high-top shoe is available in all-white and olive, selling for $220 in high-end stores like Kith, Barneys and more starting August 24th. His clothing line, which will feature t-shirts, denim jackets and pants, is expected to follow.

“I was involved in almost every aspect, but I was most focused on the silhouette,” The Weeknd tells Footwear News. “With XO and Puma, we really collaborated and worked on making the best product possible.”
The Weeknd adds that he hopes to see everyone from the Pope to Barack Obama wearing his shoes, although he adds, "To be honest, I just want to see everyone wearing it. I want it to be part of pop culture.”
